Connected TV World Summit examines how the Internet has and will continue to transform television and what this means for the future. It also addresses the technology and the thinking that will influence the next step in the evolution of television.
Steve Farmer, Director of Media Sales, EMEA at Brightcove, will be speaking at the Summit at 12pm on June 25th in the main theatre on the following panel: "How streaming video augments television (beyond extended reach and on-demand viewing.” This session will address some of the biggest questions around streaming and its relationship with television, such as:
- Must media groups look to streaming in order to innovate?
- What key opportunities does streaming provide compared to traditional broadcasting?
- Will streaming come to replace television as we know it and can online equal the quality of user experience provided by TV?
