Case Study: Natixis Global Asset Management Promotes Educational Videos with Brightcove Video Cloud

We recently published a new customer case study with Natixis Global Asset Management (NGAM), a subsidiary of Natixis, the corporate investment management and financial services arm of Groupe BPCE. NGAM has assets under management totaling $711 billion as of June 30, 2012 and ranks as one of the largest asset management companies in the world. 

NGAM sought an online video platform to support an increased investment in video content and in-house production, with an emphasis on distributing more client-facing educational and sales videos.  The company conducted an extensive search for a suitable platform, and ultimately selected Brightcove Video Cloud in 2010. 

Today, Video Cloud is utilized across NGAM's different properties, including U.S. and international sites, YouTube, and in the hands of the sales and marketing teams. In addition, the company is planning to incorporate video into its existing NGAM mobile app in the future. 

NGAM sales team members are now able to view educational content to help them learn and better present the company's products and market updates to their client base. In fact, a recent campaign providing an overview of 2012 "At the Half" was introduced company-wide through the NGAM website presenting all assets and mutual funds represented by the company with portfolio manager perspectives on what to expect over the next six months and how to best help and manage clients' money. This was a huge hit with the sales teams and was hugely valuable to the company's efforts. 

In the future, NGAM plans to continue to expand its use of Video Cloud and experiment with different player formats across mobile devices and desktops. 

This is a great example of how organizations in the financial services world are leveraging video to both market their products and solutions, but also for internal educational purposes. We are thrilled about the success of NGAM's video initiatives and hope to expand our partnership with the company in the future.
