This year’s prestigious Turing International Technology Festival in Edinburgh will include a presentation by Luke Gaydon, Brightcove’s vice president of operations for EMEA. As part of the InteractiveScotland@Turing Connected World Conference, Luke will discuss “Fragmentation & the State of Online Video,” focusing on the current device and platform landscape as well as the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for multi-platform video distribution.
Taking place alongside the world-renown Edinburgh Festival Fringe and MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival, Turing “brings together the digital technology and the web into the world’s largest arts and creative gathering in celebration of digital culture and creativity,” according to the organizers. The festival is named in honor of Alan Turing, often revered as the father of modern computing.
Luke’s presentation is scheduled for Friday, August 24th, at 4:20 PM BST at Edinburgh’s Dynamic Earth. Tickets for the conference are still available at http://interactivescotland-turing.eventbrite.co.uk/?ebtv=C.
