Upcoming Tech Events at Brightcove Boston

Brightcove is hosting the Boston Ruby Group’s monthly meeting, Tuesday, July 10th, from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM at our headquarters in Boston’s Innovation District. This month’s program features a presentation by Loren Segal, in which he will discuss some great but often overlooked features of YARD, a tool for writing and serving documentation that can help you build better code. Also, Ruby developer and author David A. Black will take attendees on a tour of a large assortment of Ruby features and techniques that can provide a better understanding of the essence of the language while avoiding common pitfalls that sometimes stunt the process of learning Ruby.

Boston Ruby is a local community of Rubyists and enthusiasts of Open Source Software. Whether you are new to Ruby or a master, it's a great place to learn something new, share ideas and experiences, and meet other Ruby users in the community. The group meets the second Tuesday of every month at Brightcove’s office. For more information and to sign up for the event, click here.
