Brightcove is hosting several upcoming tech events at our headquarters in Boston’s Innovation District, including:
Boston Ruby Group Monthly Meeting, Tuesday, June 12th, 7PM - 9PM. Boston Ruby is a local community of Rubyists and Open Source Software enthusiasts. Meetings on the second Tuesday of every month include two 45-minute presentations, enlightening talks, and announcements. Next week’s talks will focus on TorqueBox, an application platform that integrates technologies like Ruby on Rails, and "An Introduction to JRuby," which promises to be a great primer for anybody who is interested in dipping their feet in the Ruby waters. We’re also looking forward to hosting the Boston Front End Developers Monthly Meetup later in June (details TBA). The group is dedicated to the discussion of experience-based best practices on the ridiculous number of things front-end web developers need to master to be at the tops of their game.
