Sessions at PLAY: SEO for Online Video

While search engine optimization (SEO) can sometimes conjure images of dark magic, the brighter reality is that organizations don’t need an expert in witchcraft to leverage the power of online video to drive significant search referral traffic and rankings. Simply by adding video to Websites, organizations can often improve their SEO rankings given that search engines typically include video results alongside text search results. Results can be improved even further by taking a holistic approach to Website SEO that includes deeper integrations of video content.

The Brightcove PLAY 2012 session, “SEO for Online Video,” will gather expert practitioners to share practical SEO strategies and tactics for online video such as metadata creation and management, and video placement. The panel, hosted by Sara Radkiewicz, senior product manager at Brightcove, will include Jan Andresen from Veeseo, Tom Wilde of RAMP, and CJ Johnson from 3Play Media, as they explain how well-planned SEO initiatives can play a critical and effective role in helping organizations maximize their online video investments.
