Brightcove has added PaperThin to our growing list of content management system (CMS) technology partners, enabling seamless online video publishing and management for joint customers using the Brightcove Video Cloud online video platform and PaperThin CommonSpot Web CMS.
Thanks to the partnership and integration, users will be able to easily deliver and manage video experiences powered by Video Cloud through the CommonSpot CMS interface. Customers can easily drop a video from their Video Cloud library on a Web page from within the native CommonSpot interface, which also allows for distributed control of video management to protect the integrity of an organization’s website and brand.
PaperThin is one of several content management systems that are integrated with Video Cloud as part of the Brightcove Alliance global partner program. In addition to PaperThin, we also have Open Source integrations with Adobe CQ5, Drupal, and Microsoft SharePoint, along with deeper relationships that include customer support with Ektron and Agility. The partnerships encompass a broad range of CMS languages including PHP and .net.
All integrations are API driven, which requires users to only enter the Video Cloud publisher ID, read and write tokens, and player ID one time. From then on, the CMS will recognize the Video Cloud library, presenting videos, thumbnails and metadata, and supporting search and tagging functions all within the native CMS environment.
