We are happy to announce that Brightcove Video Cloud was named the best online video platform in the 2011 Streaming Media Readers' Choice awards, which were announced last night at Streaming Media West. This is the third straight year that Brightcove's online video platform has been honored by the readers of Streaming Media, which is even more exciting!
The Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards are the only awards program in the online video industry where the end-users vote for the products, services, and companies they feel are the market leaders. The awards typically generate thousands of voters each year, with nearly 60,000 voting in 2010. According to Streaming Media, this year's winners provide a snapshot of who's making the most noise in the online video space in 2011.
