New Case Study - Brightcove Provides Turnkey Video Solution for IDG TechNetwork

We recently published another new customer case study with International Data Group (IDG), the world's largest technology media, research and event management company. Approximately 200 magazines and newspapers and 460 websites are in the IDG family, including popular technology websites like cio.com, computerworld.com and pcworld.com

IDG TechNetwork, the premier online advertising network designed for technology marketers and agencies who create high-impact branding, product launch, and lead generation programs, recognized the increasing market demand for technology-focused video reports and advertising around these reports. The company sought an online video solution that would allow it to expand its offerings to include high quality video and also manage this content across dozens of websites. IDG TechNetwork also needed turnkey integration with a variety of platforms and plug-ins, as well as a simple upload interface that supported high quality video content. 

Brightcove Video Cloud gives the IDG TechNetwork a way to control and distribute vast amounts of video content using an integrated CMS to hundreds of Web properties simultaneously. Video Cloud also gives IDG TechNetwork the ability to introduce new monetization opportunities for advertisers through pre-roll advertising. Many of IDG TechNetwork's advertising partners are just starting to supplement their display schedules with pre-roll ads, and Video Cloud makes it easier for these advertisers to package their messages with professional content across member websites. 

Most importantly, since implementing Video Cloud in the spring of 2011, video views across IDG TechNetwork's websites have increased by 260%.
