Brightcove and TubeMogul Expand Distribution Opportunities for Media Publishers

We are very pleased to announce that Brightcove now offers seamless integration with TubeMogul’s OneLoad video distribution capability. Brightcove customers are now able to upload their video assets once to Brightcove and automatically distribute it to top video discovery sites, including Bing, Blip.tv, DailyMotion, Metacafe, iTunes, sevenload, Veoh, Viddler, Vimeo and Yahoo!.

The new feature automates the process of uploading videos to separate sites, saving users time and resources to focus on creating and delivering great content. Once a feed is created within Brightcove, users can input the feed into TubeMogul and specify distribution outlets. From there, OneLoad automatically ingests, transcodes and distributes videos based on a user’s settings and unique destination requirements. Since Brightcove allows for the creation of MRSS feeds based on a variety of variables, such as playlists and tags, users can completely customize which videos are uploaded and when, as well as synchronize content updates across these sites.

Modern Luxury, the largest publisher of city magazines in America, was an early beta-tester of the new feature. Within a few short months, Modern Luxury was able to grow video views by more than 3 percent between the first and second quarters of 2010.

Commenting on the project, Meg Eulberg, video lead at Modern Luxury said: “The MRSS feature goes beyond efficiency and ease of use. It allowed us to up the ante on broadening video advertising capacity with minimal manpower and half the headaches.”

Kiplinger, another Brightcove and TubeMogul customer, also reaped the benefits of the new integration. "Brightcove and TubeMogul's MRSS functionality seamlessly automated our distribution, saving us time to focus on creating content and pursuing new relationships," said Jenney Nalevanko, who leads business development at Kiplinger.

The seamless integration with TubeMogul’s OneLoad platform is available free and exclusively to Brightcove customers today. For more information, visit http://support.brightcove.com/en/docs/creating-feeds-tubemogul-oneload-media-api.
