We're excited to kick off yet another busy week for Brightcove in the UK. On Tuesday, March 16th, we will be live streaming from the Social TV Forum at the Olympia Conference Centre in London. The Social TV Forum will examine the current state of Social TV, the challenges in developing and implementing Social TV experiences, and the future outlook for Social TV. If you're attending, make sure to visit Brightcove at booth #9.
The live stream will kick off at 9:00 am GMT on Tuesday morning and will run the duration of the day. You can access the live stream via the player below once the event begins, as well as on the event's website at http://social-tv.net/media/live-streaming.html.
Additionally, Brightcove vice president of TV solutions, Eric Elia, will be presenting at the event on online video and the social Web. Eric will discuss the business opportunities and strategies for TV programmers on the social Web, as well as the challenges to the existing TV model. Eric's presentation begins at 12:00 pm GMT.
On Thursday, March 18th, Brightcove will also be presenting at Media Guardian's Changing Media Summit. Eric Elia will lead a lunch workshop beginning at 1:00 pm GMT on how social networks, SEO, and distribution across multiple screens can move the needle for online video businesses of all kinds.
Eric will also participate on a panel session at 3:50 pm on the future of TV and the convergence, aggregation, interaction and monetization of video content in the digital world. The panel will be moderated by Kate Bulkley, broadcast and technology journalist, and will also feature executives from Universal Networks International, BBC, and ITV.
