Brightcove iPhone SDK - Now available for download

I'm very excited to announce that today we released the Brightcove iPhone SDK. This SDK enables you to deliver videos from your Brightcove account via a native iPhone app to the iPhone or iPod Touch.

The Brightcove SDK is now available for download in the Developer Center.

We've used the SDK to build a sample app to inspire you. Viewers can use the sample app to play back videos, browse for related or most popular content, and share the videos they are watching by email or Twitter. This Apple-approved Brightcove reference app, OnePlanet, is available for download from the iTunes store. Check out this short video for a demo of the app:

If you've got H.264 video content in your account, why not create an iPhone app today? Even if you are delivering your content over streaming (ie FMS/RTMP), you can still deliver videos to an iPhone app using Brightcove's innovative Universal Delivery Service (UDS - read more here).

We hope you'll check it out. If you need help with the SDK, please visit our forums. You can also follow the Brightcove iPhone SDK on Twitter: http://twitter.com/bciphonesdk.
