This week is shaping up to be a busy week for the Brightcove team, as three of our members will be speaking at events in the U.S. and Germany.
Kicking it off, Brightcove's director of technology partnerships, Chris Johnston, will be speaking at the Online Marketing Summit in Boston on Tuesday, May 5th. Chris will appear on the ClickZ Special Session panel "Online Video: Secrets to Viral Video and Advertising ROI" at 10:55 am alongside representatives from YouTube, and Brightcove Alliance members Nabbr and Visible Measures.
On Wednesday, May 6th, Brightcove's VP of professional services, Eric Elia, will be speaking at Digital Hollywood Spring. Eric will be participating on the "Video Advertising & Next Wave of Advertising" panel session at 2:15 pm. The session will look at how online video has finally passed the critical threshold of acceptance by the advertising and marketing communities as a more than viable alternative to traditional media.
Also on Wednesday, Brightcove chairman and CEO, Jeremy Allaire, will be in Germany to speak at the Next09 conference at Kampnagel in Hamburg. Jeremy will speak alongside Axel Schmiegelow, the CEO of sevenload to discuss "The Social Media Revolution: Audience Networks, Community and Brand Building." The session will begin at 4:00 pm.
