Sun Microsystems has made online video a central part of their marketing mix. What started as a corporate communications exercise has extended into a wide range of programs including regular product updates, a popular CEO video blog, and now a corporate-wide employee-generated video initiative for their community portal, Channel Sun. Linda Crowe, group manager for media strategy and production at Sun, sat down with Beet.TV to discuss online video and how they've empowered 30,000 employees to produce and share videos using the Brightcove platform.
