Condé Nast Taps Brightcove to Expand Online Video Business

We are very happy to announce a corporate-wide deal with Condé Nast Publications which will enable all of the publisher’s magazine titles and CondeNet digital properties to standardize video operations on the Brightcove online video platform. The first Condé Nast websites to launch with Brightcove include WIRED.com, Portfolio.com, Glamour.com, Parade.com, and Self.com. Over the coming months, Condé Nast plans to launch sixteen additional website properties using the Brightcove online video platform.

Today’s announcement also marks the re-launch of WIRED.com, which is built on Brightcove 3. The site now includes new video offerings from contextual clips within news stories to full-screen, broadcast-quality feature programming. Brightcove 3 boosts the quality of the video experience and enables new publishing models that increase page-turns, video consumption, and overall advertising inventory.
